The Duvel chair is the result of a collaboration with the famous Belgian beer brand that shares our passion for sustainable and responsible design. Together, we translated the use of the iconic Duvel truck tarp into a pure design-led piece of furniture, reusing the heritage of Duvel as sustainable a mean. We provided, through the Duvel project, an effective method of recycling waste from the trucking industry.
The modernist structure is composed of pure and simple steel, allowing the recycled tarp to be the most expressive and unique element of each chair. The seat itself is easily replacable and repairable, directly cutted from truck tarps to be slotted into the chair as a sleeve at each end.
