Intelligent parasol
Parasmart is a multifunctional and connected sunshade using artificial intelligence principles. The automatic rotation and tilting of the sunshade is the central point of this revolutionary device. It adapts itself to the position of the sun thanks to its innovative, fully integrated motor technology.
The minimalist and modernist metal structure allows the beige canvas to be the most expressive element of the parasol. Its sober and elegant curves will suit any type of outdoor landscape, valorizing the forms and shape of surrounding objects. The sunshade design includes integrated functions as phone chargers, an audio speaker, a tray and buttons to be directly connected to the staff.
After analyzing user needs by contacting stakeholders directly, we established the main functions to be integrated into the product, limiting ourselves to the essential. Our design team designed a concept aligned with the market needs. Given the technical constraints, we developed a mechanical proof of concept validating the position of the sensors and actuators.
